Studio goals for 2022

We have officially made it to 2022! 2021 has been a whirlwind for us all, regrouping from the ongoing pandemic, adjusting to new norms, and reopenings. However, the new year is about setting goals for ourselves in all aspects of our lives, so ABOW wanted to share our 2022 goals with you!

Expand ITT Pilates

ITT Pilates is our Pilates Teacher training program which studio owner Jean Sullivan co-founded. While the program has been extremely successful, with hundreds of graduates and a growing community, we would love to see some new faces in ITT Pilates. We want to continue growing our community with new students, new Educators, and new host studios.

Our goals in 2022 are to :

  • train more students to become ITT Pilates instructors

  • offer more Master level trainings to increase the level of education for new trainers

    • Bring on more ITT Pilates educators

    • Introduce more ITT Pilates Host studios

We have already made some moves to help us meet this goal this year, but if you are an ITT Pilates graduate and would like to become an ITT Pilates educator, let us know and contact Jean at Jean@abowsf.com.

Streamline our internal process

This past year, we have made some big changes in our internal process by introducing our online NEW CLIENT FORMS on our website to help people get started at ABOW more efficiently and smoothly. We want to continue making the registration and booking process easy and accessible to our current and new clients.

Do what we do better.

We know we are San Francisco's premier studio for mind-body fitness. We hold ourselves and each other to high standards to meet the needs of our clients. We want to use 2022 to keep pushing ourselves by increasing our knowledge and training to help our clients achieve and exceed their personal health goals more efficiently. What would this look like? This plan would include more in-studio trainings for our instructors and hosting outside instructors to teach our trainers and the public. Through continued education, we continue to grow and help our community.

Additionally, with the addition of new trainers, we want to continue our stewardship to our clients by increasing our hours of operation. This allows for more availability amongst our trainers and more one-on-one sessions.

Support our community

2020 and 2021 have been difficult. We have seen an increased loss of Pilates and GYROTONIC studios in San Francisco, displacing many clients and trainers. The Health and Wellness industry in the Bay Area has been hit hard, and we want to help build it back up. ABOW wants to welcome those without a studio into our community. We want to help clients reestablish their passion for Pilates and GYROTONIC and help trainers find a new home with ABOW.
