The ABOW Team’s Favorite Things to Do in the Presidio part 2

Easily one of the best parts of A Body of Work is our prime location in San Francisco’s beautiful Presidio. Our team has been lucky enough to spend extensive time enjoying all that the park has to offer. From top-notch dining to breathtaking hikes, we’ve compiled a list of the ABOW Team’s top things to do in the Presidio.

Golfing at the Presidio Golf Course: With 6,500 yards, this 18-hole course will have you relaxing all day. “A client suggested it as the most wonderful new idea for self-care. I love being outdoors, hitting some golf balls, and enjoying the view,” says ABOW Trainer Diane Mateo.

Marshall’s Beach: This almost secret beach is often overlooked in favor of Baker Beach, but is a beautiful Presidio attraction with stunning views during sunset. Warning! Some choose to go bare at this beach, so proceed with caution when with children.

Batteries to Bluffs Trail: At 0.7 miles and a challenge level of “moderate to difficult,” the Batteries to Bluffs Trail is sure to get your heart rate going. “This hike has amazing views of the ocean, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Marin Headlands. It’s not too long and one of my favorites!” says Bri McLean, ABOW social media coordinator.

The Wave Organ: Just past Crissy Field is the Wave Organ, a wave-activated acoustic sculpture. Sound is created by waves hitting against the pipe ends and the water moving in and out of them. “This is my favorite thing to visit,” says ABOW Trainer and ITT Pilates Instructor Margaret Tappan, “Very few people know about it.”

Birdwatching: With more than 200 species of various birds, the Presidio is the perfect site for Bay Area birdwatchers to spot both foreign and native species! Hot spots we love include Crissy Marsh, Fort Point, and Battery Godfrey.
